Size / Count	Target: 20–25 berries per pound (~44–55 berries/kg).
Color	Deep red; ≥80% surface redness.	Minimal white tips or green calyx remnants. No underripe or overripe berries.
Brix Level	Minimum 7.0° Brix at time of processing (refractometer reading).	Provide recent test results if available.

Suppliers must provide evidence of the following:

✅ CFIA Establishment Approval:

Processing facility must be listed and approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for export to Canada.
Please provide your CFIA Registration Number.

✅ Food Safety Certifications (Valid & Current):

Required: HACCP and ISO 22000
Preferred: BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety (Grade AA or A), IFS Food (Grade A, B, or C)

✅ Phytosanitary Certificate:

Issued by the National Plant Protection Organization, required for every shipment.

✅ Certificate of Origin:

Certified copy required for customs clearance in Canada.

✅ Letter of Guarantee (MRL Compliance):

Signed declaration stating that the product complies with Health Canada’s Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for pesticides as per the Pest Control Products Act.
Non-compliant shipments will be rejected at the border.

✅ Cold Chain Warranty:

Supplier must guarantee continuous storage and transport at ≤ -18°C from production through loading.
Temperature logs may be requested upon arrival.
